I want to try

Do my restaurant's customers have to download an App to use their prepaid card?

No, your customers can use their prepaid card in your restaurant in two formats: a physical prepaid card or a digital prepaid card. If you've opted for a digital prepaid card for your restaurant, your customers will be able to save it in their Apple Wallet Pay and.or Google Wallet. With Obypay, they don't need to use an App to use their prepaid card.

Should my customers keep the card printed with the unique QR code?

We recommend that your customers keep their card printed with the unique QR code so that they can use it in your establishment. However, we also advise your customers to save this QR code in their Apple Wallet Pay and.or Google Wallet in case of loss. 

Can the same prepaid card be used by several different customers in my restaurant?

Theoretically yes, a prepaid card can be used by several customers if it has been shared beforehand. However, we recommend that you create as many prepaid cards as you have customers, in order to get a clearer picture of your customers' consumption habits and the products they like to eat in your restaurant. Eventually, this will enable you to set up Marketing campaigns to promote your customers' favorite and most popular products. 

What are the advantages for a restaurant of offering prepaid cards to its customers?

There are many advantages to offering prepaid cards to restaurant customers. A restaurant owner can generate cash flow, build customer loyalty and encourage repeat visits. Obypay enables restaurateurs to create an additional source of revenue. 

What happens if my customer doesn't use all the credits on his prepaid card?

Don't panic if your customers' credits are not used, as this has no impact on your cash flow. It's up to you whether or not to set an expiry date for your customers' credits. If you opt for a prepaid card expiry date, we recommend two options for restaurateurs: 

> Expiry date at the end of a calendar year

> Expiry date at the end of a balance sheet

What are the advantages of a prepaid card for my restaurant's customers?

For restaurant customers, a prepaid card offers many advantages. In addition to the ease and speed of payment, you can set up a system of incentive rewards when your customers buy a prepaid card. Whether it's a free product or a cash benefit, it's up to you how you reward your customers. We suggest that restaurants credit a bonus in the form of a euro amount when a prepaid card is purchased. Here are a few examples: 

> Purchase of a €25 prepaid card: €3 bonus. The card is therefore loaded with €28;

> Purchase of a €50 prepaid card: €10 bonus. The card is therefore loaded with €60;

> Purchase of a €75 prepaid card: €15 bonus. The card is therefore loaded with €90;

> Purchase of a prepaid card worth €100: €20 bonus. The card is therefore loaded with €120.

How do I use a prepaid card at a kiosk?

A prepaid card can easily be used on a Self ordering kiosk. Simply scan the card to benefit from the credit available on the prepaid card. What's more, your customers can associate a prepaid card with their account loyalty.
