Located in a former boiler works in Lyon's Confluence district, HEAT  is a semi-open food court that skilfully merges catering and lifestyle. 

The venue houses 4 colorful maritime containers dedicated to street food, a container bar, pétanque courts and mobile ephemeral spaces. 

Each week, the restaurant program is designed as an event, offering visitors a variety of culinary discoveries, while the vibrant HEAT stage hosts a multitude of events: debates on ideas, DJ sets, drag shows, workshops, shows, sports and inspiring talks. 

These activities underline the venue's commitment to local initiatives and creativity, making HEAT a unique meeting and entertainment place.

01. HEAT's challenge: to offer an intuitive solution for customers and restaurateurs alike.

With a year-round turnover of 250 restaurateurs and a strong order flow, HEAT's management was looking to simplify order-taking and facilitate the work of its teams.

To achieve this objective, it was necessary to replace the old checkout system with a more modern and efficient solution, capable of centralizing orders and payments while improving the customer experience.

Thanks to QR codes and control terminals Strategically placed in the Food Court, customers can easily add products from different stands in a single order. This allows great flexibility and facilitates grouped or varied orders without the need for multiple transactions.

All orders, whether placed by QR code or terminalare centralized on a single interface and automatically distributed among the stands. 

This not only simplifies the ordering process for customers, but also ensures efficient management for restaurateurs.

Centralized payment

After selecting their dishes, customers proceed to the payment by phone or directly at the kiosks, consolidating all transactions into a single, simplified and secure payment flow, which is then dispatched to the various stands.
