When Florian and Damien met on a volleyball court in 2010, little did they know that their friendship would spawn a revolution in the world of bars.

The project Beer's Corner began in 2014, when Florian and Damien, two friends passionate about the idea of creating a warm place around their love of beer, decided to turn their vision into reality.

To gain inspiration and refine their project, Florian and Damien travelled to London to soak up the atmosphere of British pubs and gain the experience they needed to realize their vision. 

They already had a franchise in mind, so they came up with a unique concept that combines the authenticity of London pubs with the sophisticated touch of French culture.

In 2018, their first establishment opened its doors, quickly becoming a go-to spot for beer lovers and good vibes.

Beer's Corner is more than just a bar; it's a real place to live, where every detail is carefully thought out to offer a unique experience. 

With a selection of 50 beers, including 8 drafts renewed every 10 days, concerts, sports evenings and even hypnosis shows, every visitor will find a reason to come back. 

This dazzling success has led Florian and Damien to envisage a wider roll-out. Their ambition is clear: by 2028, they plan to develop 30 outlets across France, to spread the Beer's Corner spirit throughout the country.

The rapid expansion of the Beer's Corner franchise network, winner of the Passport to the franchise in 2022, marks a new stage in the history of this success story. 

To keep pace with this expansion, Beer's Corner faces new challenges in maintaining a quality customer experience while optimizing its operations in each new outlet.

01. Beer's Corner's challenge: support expansion while offering unique customer service

Faced with rapid growth and the expansion of its franchise network, Beer's Corner faced a number of challenges in maintaining the excellence of its customer service and the efficiency of its operations. 

However, Beer's Corner's initial POS software did not meet their growing requirements and ambitions. 

It was not powerful enough to support the planned expansion of their future franchise network, limiting their ability to effectively manage rapid growth and maintain a quality customer experience on a large scale.

In addition, with the development of the franchise network, Beer's Corner management needed to find tools to simplify the management of loyalty programs for their teams. These tools also had to be flexible enough to adapt to the specific needs of each sales outlet.

Finally, the regular updating of menus, with a continuously rotating selection of beers, called for a solution that would make it easy to modify menus without the time-consuming and time-consuming process of reprinting paper documents.

These challenges have become a priority for management in their quest for continuous improvement to ensure the success and consistency of the Beer's Corner experience across all their franchises.

As a first step, Beer's Corner decided to change its cash register software to Zeltya solution perfectly suited to multi-site management, and which interfaces with Obypay solutions.

Customers can scan the QR code on the tables, view their order summary and proceed to payment in a matter of seconds. Not only is this system convenient for customers, it also simplifies transaction management for staff.

Right from the opening of their first establishment, Beer's Corner focused on building customer loyalty. However, the various loyalty programs tested proved complex for the teams to manage.

During the lockdown, Beer's Corner had to rethink its model to continue serving its loyal customers despite the health restrictions. It was against this backdrop that they decided to introduce a Click & Collect and Click & Delivery service, enabling customers to order their favorite beers online.

What's more, Click & Collect has not only enabled Beer's Corner to maintain its business during a difficult period, but has also strengthened the relationship between the team and customers. 

This system, though rudimentary at the time, maintained a precious link with customers and created warm moments of exchange when orders were collected, reminding them of the bar's conviviality, even outside its walls.

On the strength of this experience, and seeing the potential of Click & Collect, Beer's Corner then decided to implement the service in all its outlets.

Today, Click & Collect remains a popular service at Beer's Corner, offering additional flexibility to customers while enabling the establishment to continue to stand out for its customer-centric approach.
